Thanks from GOSH!
Matt Forrest, Great Ormond Street's Head of Fundraising, looks forward to this year's event.

On behalf of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC) I would like to thank everyone for their help and support before, during and after the Pirates Adventure Charity Premiere 2007. The event was a huge success and the event raised over 115,000 Euros. We are also immensely grateful for all the donations and the hard work involved.

This year we are again lucky enough to be benefiting from the 2008 Pirates Adventure Charity Premiere and as ever the support we can get from everyone on Mallorca really will help to make the event a success and to encourage support across the island. Great Ormond Street treats over 100,000 seriously ill children every year and events such as the Pirates Adventure Premiere are essential to the funding of many vital services, as well as the redevelopment of two thirds of the hospital buildings, which on completion will enable us to treat up to 20,000 more children per year. We really could not achieve these goals with the help of Pirates and other fundraising events.

Cherie Murphy of GOSH receives a cheque for over 115,000 Euros from Andrew Clemence and his daughter Jazz.
